Vego Food at College

The food at College is SO much better than the boarding house. At Boarding School I really only ate spud sandwiches (I'm lucky I lived with my mother most of the time), but here they have a vegetarian optionn for lunch and tea, and they always have pasta with a choice of two sauces, one of which is always vegetarian, so there's always alot of choice. And theres hot veg and fresh salad, and hot soup that so far has always been vegetarian.

So its good!

Some times the food isn't that flash, like last night was a brilliant rogan josh, but the eggplant was inedible (not that I like eggplant, but I was trying). And I mean seriously inedible. I bit it, and didnt break the skin that had formed on the flesh, it was absolutely gross.

They don't do a very good job of things like protiens, like legumes etc, so I might be lacking there but I'm not feeling it. Plus I get protiens from some vegies and cereals.

Mostly the food's great though. Tonight on the menu is Veg Tortillas, plus two veg pasta sauces. I often eat to much so I'm going to try and be good tonight... but there's just so much good food!!!

On the Uni side, I'm really enjoying myself! It's all picking up and I actually have music to play now and lectures that actual cover a topic! Instead of just telling us whats happening this semester and ranting on about referencing, plagarism and the new attendance policy. So far I'm loving Music History and I'm slowly learning how to listen properly, and sing properly. So I'm going along way! But I really need to do homework etc etc and sit at the damn piano! Bugger my bad habits. But they will come good eventually...

I'm going to Join the Goddess Blog Chain, so I'm actually posting :P

Anyway, moving on now.....

Things certainly sound exciting lil pea. I'm excited for you anyway! The food sounds amazing (except the Aubergines! I cook great Aubergines - I guarantee you'd like them).
So good to hear what you're up to and how it's all going.

I'm excited too. It really is great. I've never really liked Eggplant, but I'm trying to get over it, but the eggplant here is hard for that. I'll have to try your eggplant one day.

I'll be posting more often now too, so you can hear more about me more often.

((((HUGS))))
